Fawry’s Charity Campaign

Given the company’s continuous attempts to widen its spectrum of services, Fawry was able to successfully avail the biggest charity organizations in Egypt on its network allowing customers to donate easily via all its channels (retail, banking and online portal) to the various charity entities. Fawry’s engagement with the various charity organizations came as a corner stone and prerequisite to its campaign during the month of Ramadan. The campaign aimed to make it easier for Egyptians to donate for different charity organizations such as 57357, Food Bank and Cure Bank, Misr El Khair, Resala and We Owe it to Egypt, through its over 15,000 collections points available nationwide. Fawry collaborated with the charity institutions on co-marketing campaigns that increased the level of awareness towards the service via TV spots placed on highly viewed programs; the company did on ground activation in various cafes around Cairo and Alex interacting and communicating the same message to the masses; in addition to an extensive radio campaign that helped even propagate the easiness of donating and doing good during the Holy Month via Fawry’s available channels. Successfully, a total of 2.8 Million EGP was collected for the various charity organizations during Ramadan over Fawry channels.
